Afghan forces detain 7 Taliban, including 2 shadowy judges

Afghan forces backed by NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), captured seven Taliban militants, including two shadowy judges, in Ghazni province, 125 km south of capital city Kabul, a local official said Sunday.
"Afghan forces, with the support of international community, raided Taliban hideout in Andar district Saturday night. As a result seven Taliban rebels, including two judges, namely Mullah Habibullah and Mullah Abdul Samad, were captured," Governor of Andar district Shir Khan Yusufi told Xinhua.
The arrested shadowy judges had been involved in issuing decrees against government employees, calling on people to stop serving government or face dire consequence, Yusufi further said.
Andar district has been regarded as Taliban stronghold in Ghazni province over the past three years.
Taliban militants fighting Afghan and NATO-led troops have yet to make comment.
Around 30 Taliban fighters, according to security officials, have been killed in Ghazni province over the past couple of weeks.
