Strong earthquake jolts Iran

An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale jolted Iran at 4:38 p.m. Beijing Time on Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 20 kilometers, was located at 28.2 degrees north latitude and 59 degrees east longitude, the center said.
