Senior Chinese legislator Chen Zhili met with vice speaker of Iranian Majlis (parliament) Seyed Shahabedin Sadr in Tehran on Monday, agreeing to boost parliamentary cooperation and exchanges.

Chen, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, said Sino-Iranian relations have been developing steadily and healthily. The NPC and the Iranian Majlis have played an irreplaceable role in promoting bilateral ties on all levels.
