Egypt's top prosecutor Abel Maguid Mahmoud ordered Tuesday to renew the detention of former President Hosni Mubarak's sons Alaa and Gamal for another 15 days, according to General Prosecution's statement on its facebook.

The statement said that the interrogations concerned the program of Egypt's debts and commissions of exporting gas to Israel, compulsory partnerships in some foreign companies working in Egypt, the privatization of the business sector and evaluation and selling the assets of those companies.

Mahmoud started Tuesday to question Gamal Mubarak and Fathi Sorour, former speaker of the People's Assembly on misusing their influences on the former minister of tourism to issue licenses for some tourist companies illegally.

Egypt's former President Hosni Mubarak and his two sons were ordered on April 13 to be put under custody for 15 days, with all other top aides of the former president under corruption investigations and using powers against protesters.

They faced charges of the killing of protestors and embezzlement of public funds among others.

Sorour was also detained for 15 days over corruption accusations and killing civilians in the "camel battle."
