"Occupy Wall Street" protests in New York City on Saturday ended at Times Square in Manhattan with clashes between police and protesters, which led to the arrest of at least 14 people, according to witnesses.

At least 14 protesters were seen being put in a van by the police, as the crowd shouted "Let them go."

Witnesses confirmed that police in riot gear stationed at the Times Square area, where thousands of "Occupy Wall Street" protesters converged late Saturday, had kept telling people to move.

At about 7:45 p.m. to 7:50 p.m., clashes erupted as mounted police allegedly pushed a group of protesters who attempted to reach Times Square by crossing 46th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. The protesters argued with the police before the arrests, said the witnesses.
