Two people died and two others were injured on Friday when a helicopter crashed in southern Mexico City, said the local government's General Attorney's Office.
The Mexico state's Metropolitan Development Minister Fernando Alberto Garcia and the pilot, were seriously injured and taken to hospital. The dead were identified as a second pilot, and an assistant to the minister.
The helicopter was owned by the Mexico state government.
The Mexico state's Governor Eruviel Avila said his government will pay for the property damages caused by the accident to residents. He said his government is working together with the Federal and the Mexico City's governments to find out the causes of the accident.
The accident's site is still guarded by policemen, while staff from the Civil Aeronautics General Direction are investigating the causes of the accident.
