Ahmadinejad: Iran not to retreat from nuclear path

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic would not retreat from its nuclear path, following the release of an IAEA report the previous day saying that Iran has been seeking to obtain nuclear weapons.

Tehran has repeatedly insisted on the "peaceful" aspects of its nuclear program. However, the United States and its western allies worry that Iran would use the uranium enrichment to produce nuclear weapons.
