The Vietnam National Political Publishing House (NPPH) and a delegation from China People's Publishing House held a meeting here Friday to expand cooperation in their publishing sectors.

Leaders of the two sides exchanged information and discussed ways to expand cooperative relations, saying they are committed to implementing the agreement on exchange and cooperation in publication during 2011-2015 signed in June 2010 between the two publishing houses.

The Chinese guests introduced experience in compiling and publishing works, including a series of agricultural titles, as well as in training staff working in the publication sector.

The host NPPH expressed their hope that both sides would continue to cooperate and support each other in copyright and purchase of copyright in accordance with the International Convention of Copyright.

They also discussed in step by step improving capability of copyright purchase of each side, and agreed upon cooperation in digital publication.

The Chinese delegation, led by its Deputy Editor-in-Chief Yu Qing, is paying a working visit to Vietnam, from November 4-11, at the invitation of the Vietnam National Political Publishing House.
