A report by Iran's official IRNA news agency said Wednesday that the victim of an earlier bomb attack in Tehran was a staff of Iran's Natanz nuclear enrichment site.

The victim named Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan was the deputy chief of the commercial section of Iran's Natanz nuclear enrichment site, said IRNA.

The 32-year-old Iranian graduated from Tehran's distinguished University of Sharif in 2003, majoring in chemistry engineering.

Ahmadi-Roshan was killed Wednesday morning by a bomb in Gol Nabi Street near the Ketabi square in northern Tehran.

Iran's semi-official Fars news agency reported that an assailant on a motorcycle stuck a bomb on the side of Ahmadi- Roshan's car, killing the man and injuring two other people in the car.

Earlier media reports identified Ahmadi-Roshan as university professor, and Fars said he was a "nuclear scientist."

It was not immediately clear if Ahmadi-Roshan was directly involved in Iran's nuclear program.

Several Iranian nuclear scientists have been assassinated in recent years.
