"The investment environment in Pakistan is most hospitable and friendly for Chinese businesses and Chinese entrepreneurs," the ambassador said.
He added that Pakistanis are most comfortable in conducting business with Chinese enterprises and Chinese entrepreneurs.
As most of China's previous investments in Pakistan were made by state-owned companies, the ambassador said he particularly welcomed investment from China's private entrepreneurs.
He also invited Chinese businessmen and purchasing groups to visit Pakistan in order to get first-hand information about the country.
The ambassador confirmed that China would become an important market for Pakistan as long as Pakistan is able to provide such goods and services as are needed by China.
Cultural show:
Prior to the business seminar, a cultural show was held to celebrate the friendly ties between China and Pakistan.
The audience, which included Chinese and Pakistani guests as well as students from the Pakistan Embassy College, was clearly enthralled by the energetic and vibrant display put on by Chinese and Pakistani artists.
One Chinese guest, who declined to give his name, said that the event was a great opportunity to celebrate the friendship between China and Pakistan.
