Vice Premier Li Keqiang on Friday vowed to boost exchanges, contact and cooperation with Singapore for the promotion of bilateral ties.

Li made the pledge during a meeting with Singapore's Foreign Minister K. Shanmugam.

During the meeting, Li hailed the development of bilateral ties, saying the two states have successfully combined their development strategies to realize a "win-win situation."

China and Singapore have maintained sound coordination and cooperation on international affairs, which has contributed to peace, stability and development in Asia, Li said.

China will continue to peacefully develop and will work with Asian countries, including Singapore, to expand common interests and realize common prosperity, Li noted.

K. Shanmugam said Singapore attaches great importance to its relations with China and will boost cooperation in multiple fields in order to develop firm and reliable bilateral ties.

Singapore will also maintain close contact and coordination with China on international and regional issues of common concern, he said.
