Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan discussed global financial issues with French Finance Minister Francois Baroin in a phone conversation Thursday.

Baroin briefed Wang on France's policy ahead of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, the meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors from the Group of 20 world's leading economies, and the IMF's quota reforms and additional funding.

Wang explained China's stance.
