Another Syrian opposition delegation is expected to visit Moscow next week, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday.
"We anticipate the arrival of representatives of the Popular Front for Change and Liberation in Syria next week," Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich told reporters.
He said other delegations and political figures, including members of the Syrian National Council, were also expected to come.
"This kind of active contacts between us is conducted on a constant basis," the spokesman said, adding that Moscow reiterated its readiness to hold serious dialogue with any Syrian opposition group, which is seeking a political settlement to the year-long crisis.
Lukashevich also said the priority now is to consolidate the ceasefire, which depended on a quick implementation of the UN Supervision Mechanism to monitor and support a cessation of armed violence in all forms by all parties.
The United Nations and the Syrian government on Thursday signed an agreement on the rules governing the UN observer mission to monitor an internationally-backed ceasefire.
Syrian opposition envoys led by Hassan Abdel Azim, general coordinator of the Syrian National Coordination Committee for Democratic Change, visited Moscow from Monday to Wednesday.
The opposition representatives met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and other officials on the Syrian crisis.
