Jai Norkham, Thailand's most-wanted drug lord suspect, has been arrested in Laos, Thai media reported Friday.

Norkham, alleged to be a former aide of late drug kingpin Khun Sa, was captured along with seven other people Thursday, Bangkok Post quoted an anonymous Thai security source as saying.

Norkham and his people were detained during a raid by Lao authorities in Ban Mom in Tonpheung district of Bokeo province of Laos, it reported.
