India's anti-tank missile Nag has failed in its user trial recently, local media reported Monday.

The missile, developed by state-owned Defense Research and Development Organisation for the Indian Army, failed to hit the target thrice during its user trial fourth times, held in the western state of Rajasthan's deserts, unnamed sources were quoted as saying.

Unhappy with the user trial, the Indian Army has asked the state-owned DRDO to come better prepared in the future, the sources added.

The anti-tank missile is part of India's Integrated Guided Missile Development Program initiated in 1980s.
