A flight bound for Dallas returned to Philadelphia on Thursday after police received a warning that liquid explosives could be on board, authorities said.

One person has been detained in connection with the incident, local TV stations reported.

WPVI TV, an ABC affiliate, reported that Philadelphia police received an anonymous call that a specific person was carrying an explosive liquid and was aboard US Airways Flight 1267, which had left for Dallas.

Authorities ordered the flight to return to Philadelphia, where officials boarded the plane.

One person was detained and taken off the plane, TV images showed. Other passengers and crew also got off the plane as authorities conducted a search of the aircraft. An airline spokeswoman said 98 passengers were on board the plane.
