A 6.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Myanmar at 6:54 p.m. (Beijing time) on Sunday, said the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was monitored at 22.7 degrees north latitude and 95.9 degrees east longitude.
According to the CENC, a 7-magnitude earthquake hit the same area at 9:12 a.m. (Beijing time) on Sunday. Myanmar's state TV reported in the afternoon that at least three people were killed, 29 injured and four went missing in the strong earthquake.
