Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi stressed the necessity Thursday that Egyptian voters feel complete freedom and security during the upcoming two-round referendum on the draft constitution scheduled for Dec. 15 and 22, official new agency MENA reported.

Morsi's comments came following his meeting with Defense Minister Abdel-Fattah al-Sissi over the military preparations to secure the voting process during the referendum along with the Interior Ministry.

The Ministry of Defense announced Thursday that over 120,000 army officers and soldiers and 6,000 military vehicles would take part in securing the constitutional referendum and they have already been deployed in the country's different governorates by orders of defense minister.
