Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi is set to arrive in South Korea on Monday for a five-day visit, during which she will meet with President Lee Myung-bak and President-elect Park Geun-hye.

During her first visit to South Korea, Suu Ki is scheduled to give a keynote speech at the Global Development Summit held on Wednesday on the sidelines of the Special Olympics World Winter Games to be hosted by the country's alpine town of PyeongChang.

Before heading to PyeongChang, Suu Kyi will separately meet with President Lee and President-elect Park on Tuesday morning, Yonhap news agency reported.

The Nobel Peace Prize winner, who spent 15 years under house arrest, will also visit the southwestern city of Gwangju to receive a human rights award given to her in 2004.

She could not travel to collect the Gwangju Prize for Human Rights at that time due to her detention.
