The Syrian air forces raided the outskirts of the Lebanese border town of Arsal on Thursday, injuring five people, Lebanese LBCI TV reported.
A local security official confirmed the airstrike to Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The raid came one day after Syrian jets dropped five shells in the same area, whose residents are mostly supportive of the revolt in Syria against President Bashar al-Assad. Damascus has warned Beirut it would launch strikes against " terrorists based in Lebanon."
Thursday's airstrike is the third of its kind in 20 days after Syria conducted raids outside Arsal on March 18 and April 3.
