The unidentified flying object, spotted by Astronaut Chris Cassidy at the International Space Station on Monday morning, has been identified by Russian flight controllers as an antenna cover from the ISS, said the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Cassidy videoed the odd encounter when he spotted something strange and unidentifiable coursing through space alongside the orbital outpost through a window of the ISS.
When he couldn't discern for himself what the mysterious object was, Cassidy phoned home to the Mission Control Center in Houston. But NASA officials gave him a much simpler explanation-- it is an antenna cover from the Zvezda service module, a part of the space station itself.
The Zvezda module was launched in 2000 by Russia. It provides living quarters and a variety of life support systems for the station, according to NASA.
