A 7.5-magnitude earthquake hit off Papua New Guinea's Bougainville Island on Saturday night with no casualties reported yet.
The quake happened at 13:28 GMT with epicenter located at 75 kilometers southwest of the town of Panguna on the Island at a depth of 30.9 kilometers, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has not issued tsunami alert.
Earlier this morning, a 6.9-magnitude earthquake hit off the same area. The USGS predicted there was a low likelihood of casualties and damage due to the quake.
Papua New Guinea is lying in the Pacific seismic belt.
