India's prime criminal probe agency the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said Monday that it will file charges against five suspects in a horrifying rape murder case in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, said local media.

Also known as the Badaun case, two teenage cousins were raped and killed with their bodies found hanging from a mango tree in a village in Uttar Pradesh this May.

The horrifying image, broadcast worldwide, has triggered shock and outrage at home and abroad.
