A car bomb went off in eastern Baghdad, leaving 14 people killed and 50 others wounded, as well as several buildings and civilian cars damaged by the huge blast, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. The source added that another parked car bomb exploded in the Suleikh area in the northern part of Baghdad about half an hour after the first explosion, leaving three people killed and 19 others injured. A third car bomb detonated near the National Theater in the Karrada district, central of Baghdad later in the evening, killing at least nine people and wounding 27 others.
