Countries of the Visegrad Four (V4), namely Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary, decided to offer Ukraine help in reform process, Slovak President Andrej Kiska said on Sunday.

Kiska made the remarks following a meeting of the presidents of the four countries with Ukrainian top official Petro Poroshenko in Bratislava.

"All countries have agreed at the meeting that a united approach in the EU is necessary, and sanctions against Russia are needed," added Kiska, adding that V4 is offering help to Ukraine to make it a prosperous country.

Poroshenko said that Ukraine appreciated the support from the V4. He suggested that V4 officials could meet on a regular basis with Ukrainian representatives.
