British Labour Party leader Ed Miliband resigns

Ed Miliband, leader of British Labour Party, Friday announced his resignation as the party leader.

Miliband said he will shoulder all the responsibilities of the defeat in the 2015 General Election. He also sent his congratulation to David Cameron, British Prime Minister and the leader of the Conservative Party.

According to latest results from individual constituencies, the Conservatives have already secured 325 seats out of 642 seats. The Labour has won 230 seats so far. Eight more seats are expected to be declared afterward.
