Trump hits Clinton on emails, denies Russia ties

Republican Donald Trump has dismissed suggestions that Russia was behind the recent release of sensitive Democratic Party emails.

"It is so far-fetched. It is so ridiculous. Honestly, I wish I had that power. I would love to have that power."

Speaking at a press conference in Florida, Trump also says that he has no relationship to Russian President Vladimir Putin, but if elected, he will have a good relationship with the Russian President.

"He has a total lack of respect for President Obama. Number one, he doesn't like him and, number two, he doesn't respect him. I think he is going to respect your president, if I am elected, and I hope he likes me."

Trump adds that the emails, which showed DNC staffers behind the scenes supporting Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, demonstrated that the primary elections were what he called "a fixed race."
