Parents Day (2016-17) of Pakistan Embassy College Beijing took place on 20th January, 2017 at Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing. The Ambassador of Pakistan to China, Masood Khalid was the Chief Guest at the occasion.

The ceremony started with a welcome note by PECB Principal Ms. Shaqufta Ansari. She presented the Annual School Report wherein the school's achievements in various fields were highlighted.

The Ambassador distributed prizes amongst the high achievers in curricular and co curricular activities.

Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador lauded the outstanding and collective effort of the students and teachers. He said that PECB endeavoured to improve quality of education along with provision of enabling environment to the students and whose performance was a testimony to it. The active involvement of teachers to improve the quality of education was highlighted by the Ambassador.

He stressed upon the need of improving teaching skills through training workshops and other similar programmes.

The Ambassador appreciated the fact that Pakistan Embassy College students were being accepted by International Universities due to their good performance. He emphasized the need for character building and pursuit of knowledge to equip the youth to meet the challenges of current competitive environment.

Various performances by the PECB students were received warmly by the audience. The ceremony ended with national anthem followed by refreshments.
