BUCHAREST, April 28 (Xinhua) -- Romania's interim President Ilie Bolojan on Monday promulgated a new law establishing the framework for international police cooperation and updating related legislation.
The law aims to facilitate the prevention and investigation of crimes in accordance with national regulations, EU instruments, and international treaties to which Romania is a party.
A single national point of contact, the International Police Cooperation Center (CCPI), will be established within the Romanian Police Inspectorate.
CCPI will coordinate and streamline the exchange of information between Romanian authorities and their foreign counterparts. Enditem
