BAGHDAD, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani and Jordanian King Abdullah II emphasized on Tuesday the need to halt the aggression against Gaza.
The two leaders held a phone conversation to discuss bilateral relations as well as the latest regional and international developments, according to a statement issued by al-Sudani's media office.
They also stressed the need to allow the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, uphold the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, and coordinate efforts with all countries to enhance security and stability throughout the region, it said.
The discussions included a review of relations between the two countries across various fields and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation at all levels, according to the statement. Enditem
