VIENTIANE, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Laos opened an exhibition to promote local products, aiming to support the production and growth of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the Lao capital, Vientiane, and other provinces while expanding their market reach.
The 11th One District One Product (ODOP) Exhibition, held in Vientiane from May 1 to 11, attracted a diverse group of entrepreneurs and business representatives, according to the Lao Economic Daily report on Tuesday.
The ODOP exhibition has been held annually to showcase local products and promote MSMEs. This year, the exhibition aims to boost market support for local products while encouraging product exchange.
A total of 116 business units participated in the exhibition, with 165 booths, including 60 ODOP booths from Vientiane and other provinces showcasing local products. Additionally, the event featured potential products and processed industrial goods from Laos. Enditem
