LONDON, May 23 (Xinhua) -- England coach Thomas Tuchel has recalled striker Ivan Toney for his second squad since being named as Gareth Southgate's replacement.

England plays Andorra in a World Cup qualifier on June 7, before facing Senegal in a friendly three days later.

This is Toney's first call-up since the 2024 European Championships and his return is a surprise after he left Premier League side Brentford to join Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli last summer, although he has scored 28 goals in 42 appearances for the Saudi Pro League outfit.

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is also back after missing Tuchel's first squad due to injury, while the German coach has also included players such as Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Conor Gallagher (Atletico Madrid), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) and Cole Palmer (Chelsea), whose clubs will play in the FIFA Club World Cup which opens in the United States on June 15.

Uncapped Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is the only player to be given a debut call-up.

West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen misses out despite a good season while his club has struggled, while Phil Foden has also dropped out of the squad after commenting recently that he "had a lot of things in my head mentally," in what has been a difficult campaign.

Following is the squad:

Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford, Dean Henderson, James Trafford

Defenders: Reece James, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Trevoh Chalobah, Levi Colwill, Ezri Konsa, Dan Burn, Kyle Walker, Myles Lewis-Skelly

Midfielders: Jude Bellingham, Eberechi Eze, Conor Gallagher, Morgan Gibbs-White, Jordan Henderson, Curtis Jones, Cole Palmer, Declan Rice, Morgan Rogers

Forwards: Anthony Gordon, Noni Madueke, Bukayo Saka, Ivan Toney, Ollie Watkins, Harry Kane. Enditem
