RIO DE JANEIRO, May 28 (Xinhua) -- Argentine forward Jose Lopez struck twice as Brazil's Palmeiras cruised to a 6-0 win over Peruvian side Sporting Cristal in the Copa Libertadores group stage on Wednesday.

Chelsea-bound teenager Estevao opened the scoring at Allianz Parque when he deftly controlled Anibal Moreno's floating pass, cut inside his marker and fired a left-footed shot into the far corner.

Estevao, who will complete his move to Stamford Bridge in July, then turned provider as his one-touch pass released Lopez, who dribbled 30 yards before expertly chipping a shot over the onrushing goalkeeper Diego Enriquez.

Lopez made it 3-0 by running onto Mauricio Prado's cross and slotting home from the edge of the six-yard box.

Palmeiras continued to dominate after halftime, and Raphael Veiga extended his team's lead by curling a sublime 30-yard free-kick into the top right corner.

Sporting Cristal had no answer to Palmeiras' slick passing and incisiveness in the final third. The Lima-based club looked disorientated as Paulinho capitalized on chaotic defending to slot home his side's fifth goal, before Facundo Torres completed the rout with a thumping header after Paulinho's cross.

The result meant Palmeiras, which had already clinched a spot in the last 16, finished the group stage with six wins from as many outings while Sporting Cristal was eliminated with just one victory.

Meanwhile, Flamengo secured a berth in the knockout phase with a 1-0 home win over Deportivo Tachira and LDU Quito also advanced with a 3-0 home victory over Central Cordoba.

Elsewhere, Internacional reached the next stage by securing a 2-1 home win over Bahia and Bolivar was eliminated despite overcoming Cerro Porteno 4-0 in La Paz.

In Wednesday's only other fixture, Atletico Nacional progressed despite stumbling 1-0 away to the already eliminated Club Nacional. Enditem
