ISLAMABAD, May 29 (Xinhua) -- Foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) have increased by 70 million U.S. dollars, the central bank said in a statement on Thursday.
The bank's total foreign exchange reserves stood at approximately 11.52 billion dollars during the week ending May 23, the SBP added.
Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were recorded at about 5.12 billion dollars, the statement said.
The total liquid foreign reserves of the South Asian country stood at roughly 16.64 billion dollars during the period under review, the SBP added. Enditem
