YANGON, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar has kicked off a forum on post-earthquake economic recovery in Nay Pyi Taw, following the devastating 7.9-magnitude earthquake, the state-owned daily The Mirror reported on Saturday.
The event, titled "Rebuilding Myanmar: Post-Earthquake Economic Recovery," was opened Friday by Chairman of the State Administration Council Min Aung Hlaing, the report said. The forum will run until Saturday, the report said.
The earthquake that struck central Myanmar on March 28 claimed 3,700 lives, left over 5,000 people injured, and 68 missing. Enditem
