WARSAW -- Karol Nawrocki, an independent candidate backed by the opposition Law and Justice (PiS) party, won Poland's presidential runoff election, according to the final vote count released by Polish National Electoral Commission (PKW) early Monday.

MANILA -- Four people have been killed, including a one-year-old child, and five others injured, one critically, in a road crash in Ormoc City in the central Philippines, the police said Monday.

YANGON -- Six people were killed and 11 others injured after a highway passenger bus rolled over in central Myanmar's Mandalay region, an official from the Mandalay Region Fire Services Department told Xinhua on Monday.
