HANOI, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- One man was killed and two of his family members were injured on Sunday in central Vietnam's Nghe An province after suffering an electric shock while reinforcing their house ahead of tropical Typhoon Kajiki, local media VNExpress reported Monday.
According to the report, the victims were electrocuted by a faulty power cord while pumping water onto their roof to weigh it down as a precaution against strong winds brought by the approaching storm.
Typhoon Kajiki is forecast to make landfall in central Vietnam before moving into central Laos by Tuesday morning, the report added. Enditem
