TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned Australia's decision to expel Iranian Ambassador Ahmad Sadeghi, calling it unjustified and contrary to bilateral traditions.

KHARTOUM -- The Sudanese government convened in the capital Khartoum on Tuesday for the first time since war broke out in mid-April 2023, with discussions centered on launching "an inclusive Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue that excludes no one," as part of efforts to foster national recovery.

DAMASCUS -- An Israeli drone strike targeted a Syrian military position in the southern countryside of Damascus on Tuesday, killing at least two soldiers and wounding several others, according to local and monitoring group reports.

Syria's Lebanon-based Sham TV television reported that three Syrian military personnel were killed and four others injured when an Israeli drone strike hit a military site in the town of al-Kiswah, southwest of Damascus. (Syria-Israeli Drone Strike-Casualties)

GAZA -- At least 50 Palestinians were killed in Israeli army attacks across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, said the civil defense in Gaza.
