WARSAW/MINSK -- Poland will completely close its border with Belarus starting at midnight on Thursday, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said.
"For national security reasons, we will close the border with Belarus, including railway crossings ... on Thursday at midnight, from Thursday to Friday," Tusk said ahead of a government meeting on Tuesday. (Poland-Belarus-Border Closure)

JERUSALEM -- Countries hosting Hamas leaders or other groups regarded by Israel as enemies could themselves become targets if they failed to act against the groups, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Wednesday, a day after Israel's Doha strike that drew swift and broad international condemnation.

WASHINGTON -- A federal judge on Tuesday blocked U.S. President Donald Trump from firing Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, and ruled she must be immediately reinstated, local media reported.

SANAA/JERUSALEM -- Israel conducted airstrikes against Yemen's capital Sanaa on Wednesday, targeting the Houthi-controlled Defense Ministry, headquarters of the Houthi military spokesman, military camps, and a fuel storage complex, eyewitnesses told Xinhua.
