RAMALLAH -- The Israeli army on Friday pressed ahead with a large-scale military operation in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarm for the second consecutive day, imposing tight restrictions on residents and carrying out arrests and searches, local sources said.

JERUSALEM -- Two Israeli men were injured in a stabbing attack at a hotel near Jerusalem on Friday, Israel Police and the national emergency service Magen David Adom said in separate statements.

ABU DHABI -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday summoned David Ahad Horsandi, Israel's deputy ambassador to the country, over Israel's strike on Qatar's Doha and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's subsequent "hostile statements."

BEIRUT -- A Hezbollah member was killed and two people injured Friday in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) and a security source.
