ISLAMABAD -- Pakistani security forces killed four terrorists on Wednesday during an intelligence-based operation in the country's southwest Balochistan province, the military said Thursday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan army, the operation was conducted in Khuzdar district of the province following reports about the presence of terrorists. (Pakistan-Terrorist-Military)

ANKARA -- Türkiye's gendarmerie detained 51 individuals suspected of links to the Islamic State (IS) in a sweeping counterterrorism operation over the past two weeks, the country's Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said Thursday.

SYDNEY -- Australian health authorities have issued a measles alert for Sydney Airport after being notified of a confirmed case who was infectious while traveling.
The Department of Health in the east coast state of New South Wales (NSW) said in an alert issued on Wednesday night that the confirmed case recently returned from Western Australia (WA), where there is an active outbreak of measles, and visited several locations in the state's north while infectious.
