ISLAMABAD -- At least two security personnel were killed and 30 others injured in a suicide attack on a convoy of paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province on Thursday, security sources said.

The attack happened when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive laden vehicle into the convoy of 15 to 16 vehicles in Dasht area of Kech district of the province, killing two FC personnel on the spot while injuring at least 30 others, the security sources told Xinhua. (Pakistan-Security-Attack)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia's first Gender and Environment Survey revealed high exposure to environmental and climate change hazards, and the different impacts faced by women compared to men, said a UN Women's press release on Thursday.

Rolled out in 2024, the survey found that almost nine in 10 people lived in areas of high environmental risk and 99 percent experienced at least one disaster in the past 12 months, the press release said. (Cambodia-Women)

JAKARTA -- Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia Destry Damayanti said Indonesia's local currency transactions (LCT) with partner countries have grown significantly, reaching 16.4 billion U.S. dollars in the first eight months of this year, local media reported on Thursday.

KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysia recorded 73.8 million domestic visitors in the second quarter of 2025, an increase of 7.8 percent as compared to the same period last year, official data showed Thursday.
