NEW YORK -- At least three people were shot at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility in Dallas in the southern state of Texas, on Wednesday morning, multiple U.S. media outlets reported.
The reports quoted Kristi Noem, the secretary of homeland security, as saying there were "multiple injuries and fatalities" and the shooter was found dead of a "self-inflicted gunshot wound." (US-ICE-Shooting)

GAZA -- At least 55 Palestinians were killed across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday due to Israeli attacks, according to official and local Palestinian sources.
Local witnesses reported that the Israeli army has been detonating explosive-laden military vehicles, causing widespread destruction to residential buildings.

KHARTOUM -- At least 15 civilians were killed and 12 others injured on Tuesday in a drone strike launched by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) that targeted a local market in the city of El Fasher, western Sudan, according to a medical source and a volunteer group.
"The Saudi Hospital in El Fasher received multiple casualties. Based on our count, 15 people were killed and 12 others were injured," a medical source at the city's main hospital told Xinhua on Wednesday. (Sudan-Drone Attack)

LILONGWE -- Malawi's incumbent president Lazarus Chakwera on Wednesday conceded defeat in the Sept. 16 presidential election in which former president Peter Mutharika is leading by over one million votes.
Speaking in a televised address less than two hours before the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC)'s scheduled announcement of final results for the election, Chakwera thanked all Malawians for their support over the past five years.
