JERUSALEM, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Israeli Super League basketball club Elitzur Netanya on Monday announced the signing of point guard Semaj Christon, who played in the NBA and Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).
The 32-year-old American played college basketball at Xavier University and was selected 55th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2014 NBA Draft.
In 2016, after one season with Consultinvest Pesaro in Italy's top league, he joined the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he played 64 regular-season NBA games and two playoff games.
He then moved to the Guangzhou Loong Lions of the CBA, where he averaged 27.8 points and 5.8 assists in 16 games.
His career also included EuroLeague club Saski Baskonia of Spain, EuroCup sides Limoges CSP of France and Ratiopharm Ulm of Germany, Israel's Hapoel Beer Sheva.
Since 2022, he has played for four clubs in the Italian LBA, including most recently Vanoli Cremona, where he averaged 9.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 11 games. Enditem
