MANILA, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- A public utility vehicle crashed into a sedan and 13 motorcycles along a busy highway in Metro Manila on Friday, killing one and injuring three others, authorities said.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said the crash happened along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.
Footage of the crash posted on social media showed the white public utility vehicle plowing into the car and motorcycles.
Police have taken the male driver of the vehicle into custody, who attempted to escape after the crash.
Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash while preparing to file criminal charges against the driver. Enditem
