ZAGREB, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- A shooting took place on Wednesday in the Sredisce neighbourhood of Zagreb, Croatia, leaving one man wounded. The suspected attacker has been taken into police custody.
According to local N1 Television, the incident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. (0830 GMT) in southern Zagreb, when two men got into an argument. Witnesses said one man kicked the other to the ground before a gunshot was heard, injuring the victim in the leg.
Police and ambulance teams quickly arrived at the scene, and the wounded man was taken to hospital. The police then cordoned off the area and launched an intensive search for the perpetrator, who was found hiding in a nearby building and was swiftly arrested. Enditem
