Advisory: Xinhua top feature story on how Xi champions open cooperation across Asia-Pacific

BEIJING, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the 32nd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Gyeongju and pay a state visit to South Korea from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 against the backdrop of mounting protectionism and a lackluster global economy.

Over the years, Xi has consistently championed free trade and greater connectivity across the Asia-Pacific. He has also called for building an Asia-Pacific community with a shared future in the face of pressing global challenges.
