162,900 new enterprises established in Vietnam in 10 months

HANOI, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- About 162,900 new enterprises with a total registered capital of nearly 1.6 quadrillion Vietnamese dong (about 60.8 billion U.S. dollars) were established in the first ten months of 2025, according to the National Statistics Office.

The figures represented year-on-year increases of 19.7 percent in the number of newly established businesses and 21.4 percent in registered capital, the office said.

These new enterprises registered a total of 967,600 workers, the office said on Thursday.

The average registered capital of a newly established business during the January-October period was 9.8 billion Vietnamese dong (about 372,400 dollars). Enditem
