KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Three crew members of a cargo ship were killed after a fire broke out while it was docked at a port in Malaysia's Johor state, authorities said on Friday.
The fire aboard the container vessel MSC Kyparissia at the Port of Tanjung Pelepas also left three other crew members injured, the Johor Fire and Rescue Department said in a statement.
The fire broke out during unloading operations in the under-hatch area of Block 5 of the vessel, it said.
The victims were a 59-year-old Malaysian man, a Filipino man in his 40s, and a British man also in his 40s, the department added. Enditem
