HANOI, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- The 15th National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam has set a gross domestic product (GDP) growth target of 10 percent or higher for 2026, local daily Nhan Dan reported.

The target was outlined in a resolution on the socio-economic development plan adopted during the legislature's session on Thursday.

Under the resolution, Vietnam aims for per capita GDP to reach between 5,400 and 5,500 U.S. dollars next year.

The average consumer price index growth rate is projected at around 4.5 percent.

The proportion of workers with degrees or certificates is expected to reach about 29.5 percent of the labor force, the report said. Enditem
